AP Credit
The AP tests are a combination of essay and multiple-choice questions. The Chief Readers convert the total raw scores into the program's five-point scale:
5-Extremely well qualified
4-Well qualified
3-Qualified
2-Possibly qualified [no credit given]
1-No recommendation [no credit given]
The High School Advanced Placement (AP) Program information will help you choose the correct AP Exam so that you can determine the amount of credit hours you can receive.
To receive your AP Credit, the students need to request their exams scores be sent to SIUC directly from College Board. Once the Office of Articulation and Evaluations receives the scores, they will review them and awarded credit will be added to the student record.
