The Neoclassic period was a revival of the ideas that came from the Classical period. The theme during the Neoclassical period was not to simply bring back the same classical music but instead to use the classical tradition while incorporating modern music techniques. The Neoclassical movement was faily widespread and usually opposed the Romantic era style of music.
