I am from Kalamazoo, Michigan! I earned my BS from Western Michigan University, where I double majored in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Applied Statistics. During undergrad I worked at Southwest Michigan's Children's Trauma Assessment Center where I conducted Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Neurodevelopmental Assessments. I also volunteered at a suicide hotline as a Crisis Intervention Specialist and as a Group Co-facilitator for a national grant through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. I researched in Western's Psychological Trauma Lab, anxiety lab, and the behavioral assessment and treatment lab.
