Future Career Plans:
I plan to be a counseling psychology professor, conduct research, and see clients. I may not do all of these at the same time, but throughout my career I imagine I will do parts of each.
What Attracted Me to SIU:
The community at SIU is very supportive and welcoming. Students and professors really care about the program and want every student to be successful in their life goals. This program also has a lot of teaching opportunities and some research opportunities.

My favorite psychology/therapy book is Love's Executioner by Irvin D Yalom.
