Launch a career with few (or no) loans while taking advantage of state school prices with a small-college feel and large-school resources. There is no longer an out-of-state fee, all students pay the same in-state rate!
Build your professional resumé with our own McLeod Summer Playhouse and begin networking with a mix of outside professionals in addition to your own professors and colleagues.
A CONFIDENT FISH FROM A SMALL POND
Boost your confidence with smaller class sizes and more performance opportunities! Attending a smaller program with great training and passionate professors can lift a career in ways many don't realize. Directors, choreographers and casting directors want to see self-assurance and experience as well as talent and skill. We provide focused and individualized training combined with a supportive and encouraging environment so that you can have the resumé and tenacity you need to launch your career.
Theater is about bringing the world to life on the stage, so you need to understand the world! We develop your understanding through an integrated liberal arts core including the arts and humanities, the sciences, the social sciences and more. Furthermore, if you have an ACT score of 26 or higher or a HS GPA of 3.4 or more you are eligible for our Honors Program, which features an exciting array of special courses taught by select professors for classes of no more than 15 students. We highly encourage your participation in this program if you are eligible.
