Klassics for Kids

The SISO once again presents its unique and highly acclaimed concert series for young persons: Klassics for Kids. The 2016-17 series includes two concerts for pre-Kindergarten through 3rd grade and two concerts for all school age children. Admission is FREE to all Klassics for Kids events and no advance reservations are necessary. Pre-K programs take place at 10:00am on November 1, 2016 and March 7, 2017 in Altgeld Hall Room 112 on the SIUC campus. These concerts are especially to encourage listening skills for younger audiences and include interactive activities. Two concerts for school age children take place at 10:00am at Shryock Auditorium on the SIUC campus on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 and on Monday, April 10, 2017. These concerts feature the full symphony orchestra and include instrument demonstrations.
