Bryan Kelso Crow is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech and Theatre from the University of Tennessee (1975, 1977) and a Ph.D. in Communication and Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa (1982). He teaches classes in Interpersonal Communication, Interpersonal Conflict, Family Communication, Conversation Analysis, Gender & Communication, Public Speaking, and Irish Studies.
Dr. Crow has been published in various books and professional journals, most recently the Journal of Language and Social Psychology. He has presented at numerous conferences including the National Communication Association and the Central States Communication Association conventions. He is the 2014 program planner for the Language & Social Interaction Division of the Southern States Communication Association. Dr. Crow also hosts a nationally syndicated radio program, “Celtic Connections.”
