Criminology and Criminal Justice Minor
A minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice is a useful secondary specialization for students in many majors who may be interested in working in policy, management/administration, or investigation and compliance. A minor in Criminology & Criminal Justice also is a popular secondary specialization for students majoring in other social sciences, both in terms of expanding expertise in theory and research skills and/or policy and administrative problem-solving.
A minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice consists of 15 hours of CCJ courses, which must include 201 and 290. At least 9 of the 15 hours must consist of CCJ courses taken at SIU.
