Timothy Ting

Mr. Ting currently practices law in Jackson County as an Assistant Public Defender and teaches Legal Analysis, Research & Writing II and Law Office Technology. He joined the Paralegal Studies program in 2011.

Professional Experience

Mr. Ting has taught in the Paralegal Studies Program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale since 2011. His teaching experience includes teaching PARL 300B (Legal Analysis, Research, & Writing II) and PARL 380 (Law Office Technology).  His practice experience as an attorney includes roles as an Appellate Prosecutor for the Fifth Appellate District of Illinois as well as an Assistant Public Defender in both Jackson County and Williamson County (Illinois).
